Accountability

Financial oversight & accountability

RECOAT produces financial audited reports annually and maintains a comprehensive financial management policies and procedures manual to ensure finances are handled effectively in support of the organization's work and mandate.

Two qualified staff members are responsible for financial management, ensuring segregation of duties to enhance transparency: an Administration and Finance Manager, who oversees compliance with the financial management policy, and an Accounts Officer, who is responsible for procurement, filing, and bookkeeping of organizational financial records. A Project Director authorizes the requisitions and payments proposed by the Finance Manager.
